GrowthLogic wins RFP to acquire Canadian Innovation Centre (CIC) assets
Toronto, Canada May 1 2018
GrowthLogic is excited to announce its successful bid to acquire the assets of the Canadian Innovation Centre (CIC). After a competitive RFP process involving several companies from across Canada, the CIC board determined that GrowthLogic is the organization best equipped to rejuvenate the CIC and help cement its legacy moving forward.
Key among the CIC assets is the Critical Factors Assessment (CFA) which has a proven predictability factor of 80% in identifying potential points of failure in new organizations. Importantly, GrowthLogic will apply its technology to mining the the 35+ years of CIC reports to generate a unique data set that will be of interest to both public and private funders.
“The CFA fit with GrowthLogic’s SaaS platform for guiding entrepreneurs through basic business requirements was apparent to us from the onset,” said Peter Henry, GrowthLogic founder. “For us, it has always been about helping entrepreneurs help themselves by giving them the tools to confront the hard realities of commercialization. ”
“Like the CIC, GrowthLogic’s goal is to support companies wanting to commercialize their products and services,” remarked Josie Graham, CEO of CIC, “GrowthLogic is experienced, capable and dedicated to taking the CIC methods online to a global audience of entrepreneurs.”
